Houghton Mifflin Publishing Co., publishers of History and Social Science textbooks, were commissioned to create three levels of curriculum that correspond with your standards-based lessons on the Government of the United States. The lesson plans includes a teacher's workbook, bibliographies, and pre-tests to help students prepare for their tour. There are also follow-up activities after the trip, including a post-test that you may give as part of your class' overall grade. There are lesson plans available for 4th, 5th and 8th grade.
